Fire as a result of falling candles or burn from touching flame.

Location and equipment
All candles must be placed at least 1 meter away from actors and crew at all time. They must be put on high steady surfaces to prevent people from knocking them over. Make sure that there are no flammable materials place anywhere near the flames.

Make sure that there is a medical kit to treat any minor burns, make sure that you have equipment such as fire extinguisher in case of fire. Have a phone to contact emergency services if necessary.

Equipment and location
No water is allowed within two metres of any electrical equipment. Check all equipment before using it.
Make sure all plug sockets are in good working condition.

All cables either have to be taped to the ground or against the wall to prevent tripping.

Ensure that all walking space is clear from wires /equipment. Tape all electrical wire to the ground or in the corners around the walls. Make sure that actors are aware of their surrounding during the performances. Make sure if any heavy lifting is being done, two people carry it and one extra person helps insure they do not trip.

Make sure that everyone is informed of any existing medical problems such as epilepsy or allergic reactions. Make sure that all of the cast and crew members are informed on what to do in an emergency situation.

Make sure people are strong enough to carry things. Make sure they are properly informed how to carry things to prevent injury. Make sure if any heavy lifting is being done, two people carry it and one extra person helps insure they do not trip. Stay clear from any person heavy lifting if you are not helping to prevent things falling on you.
